The Bow Valley Riding Association leases approximately 35 acres of land just east of Canmore. We have been a part of the Bow Valley for 50 years. Associate memberships in our club are available to residents of Alberta. Voting memberships are required for all paddock holders and paddock share persons. We presently have 34 paddocks on our club grounds. We have three riding arenas and access to many trails around the Canmore area. We are a private club and do not rent horses or do trail rides for the general public.

Hi I’m a long term Banff resident with years of horse riding experience. I don’t have my own horse but am looking to help volunteer at the stables and with exercising horses. I spent a year volunteering with a horse therapy program in revelstoke.

Hi to BVRA, kind of same wish as Corrie above. We are long term Canmorites from Europe and my girlfriend is really missing horses as she is horse rider with 20 years of experince with own horse back home. She would be happy to volunteer and help with and around horses in her freetime. Thanks for any reply from BVRA members.

Hi BVRA, I would love to help you with horses and work around them as well. I dont have my own horse and have a little experience with them but I am willing to learn anything. If you need some volunteers, feel free to let me know 🙂 I live just behind the corner at Elk Run and can come to help in my free time. Thanks and have great day
